Bearden-Josey Center for Breast Health reaches out to provide digital breast cancer screenings to women throughout Spartanburg, Union and Cherokee counties, as well as at area businesses and industries, campuses and churches, organizations and events, through our mobile mammography unit. By making life-saving mammography regularly available to women at convenient community locations, we are able to help overcome the time, transportation, childcare and other issues that often prevent women from having these important screenings.
Staffed by a team of registered mammography technologists with advanced training, the 48-foot unit houses digital mammography equipment, two private changing rooms and a reception area, giving women a convenient, comfortable, confidential setting to be screened, ask questions or discuss their concerns.
