Spread the good word.

So often, our patients and their families tell us how surprised they were to discover a world-class cancer treatment center so close to home – and how happy they are to know that Gibbs is in our community. Newly diagnosed patients often get their first information about Gibbs from friends and family, neighbors and acquaintances. That’s why we offer a range of products at our gift shop and have established programs to help you spread the good word about Gibbs:

Magnitude magnets: because a small gesture can make a big difference.

Help spread a message of hope and good wishes with magnitude magnets, beautifully inspirational quote decals that you can plunk down on a neighbor's mailbox, a stranger's car, a family member's medicine chest, metal whiteboards at school or work, or anywhere else you sense a good turn is needed. You can leave a magnitude anonymously or in person with a smile. Either way, they're a great way to drive away the blues. Your recipient can discover your inspiring message, take it to heart, and pass it along to someone else who could use a good word. Available in the gift shop.

Drop the Gibbs name everywhere you go, when you wear, carry and use official Gibbs shirt, hats, water bottles, sunscreens, herbal teas and more. Featuring the Gibbs trademark on top-quality products, each item shows your support and helps spread the good word about Gibbs throughout our community. All apparel and accessories are available in That Special Look™ boutique.

Participate in a cancer prevention study.

Through Gibbs Cancer Center, healthy adults in the community can choose to participate in cancer prevention studies designed to better understand the lifestyle, environmental and genetic factors that can cause or prevent cancer. Typically, participants are asked to complete a brief written survey, provide certain body measurements, and often, a small blood sample. You may also be asked to fill out additional surveys at home. You will not be individually identified or linked with the data you provide, and all studies are confidential. For more information or to enroll in an upcoming study, contact somebody.
